To create a future for Silver Creek Township to benefit those generations that will follow. To deliver services to the township as inexpensively and effectively as possible.
To foster a strong, vibrant township, advocating legislation to meet 21st century challenges, developing and educating knowledgeable township officials and interested supporters of township government.
To encourage ethical and transparent practices of elected officials who uphold the traditions and unique characteristics of township government.
The township has developed this web site so we can tell more people what a great place Silver Creek Township is to live, play and work.

A majority of millage proposals approved by township residents
Nearly 90 percent of township ballot questions that would benefit their communities were approved by voters on Tuesday's election. Of the 92 ballot proposals, 81 passed--with the majority comprising of 34 new and renewal public safety millages and 26 new and renewal road millages. Five townships had marijuana proposals on the ballot--three to allow marijuana facilities in the township (all three were defeated) and two to ban said facilities within the township (both were approved). Other ballot measures included funding for libraries, cemeteries, community centers, general operations and recreation
